To get started with emergency preparedness …
If you’re ready to move beyond the basics …
CERT is an in-depth Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) training program to train community member volunteers in basic disaster response skills such as fire safety, light search and rescue, and disaster medical operations. In a major disaster with wide-spread impacts, professional first responders may not be able to respond to all areas of the city for several days. CERT trained volunteers can help fill this gap by providing response to their family and neighbors.
Bellevue CERT will conduct a Basic Training Fall 2022:
- Nine Wednesday evenings, 6:00 to 9:00 PM, September 21 through November 16, 2022
- One Saturday final exercise, 8:00 AM to Noon, November 19, 2022
